The Southeast Nebraska Baseball Conference conducted its 2022 tournament last week.
After earning an 11-3 win over Tecumseh, the Syracuse Juniors fell to Auburn, 10-2, sending the squad to a third place match up against Plattsmouth where the Rockets triumphed by one run, 4-3.
Turning to Senior division action, Syracuse won 10-4 against Auburn and 14-4 against Tecumseh to qualify for the championship round. Plattsmouth won the championship game over Syracuse by the final score of 7-0.

Braden Lafollette as honorable mention.
For the Syracuse Juniors, Robert Shanks and Jase Voorhees with Barrett Bischoff and

Juniors 11, Tecumseh 3
Syracuse scored seven first inning runs and ran away with the win. The Rockets ended the game with 11 runs on 12 hits and had just one defensive error.
Jase Voorhees hit 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and an RBI. Robert Shanks had a pair of doubles and Grayson May hit a single and a double. Connor Thompson had two singles. Players with singles were Gavin Kelch, Colton Sprauge and Collin Oelke.
Connor Thompson pitched two innings, struck out two, walked one and did not allow a run or a hit. Timothy Lovelace pitched two innings, struck out three, walked four and allowed three runs, two earned, without surrendering a hit. Collin Oelke pitched an inning, struck out one and did not allow a run on two hits.
Auburn 10, Juniors 2
Robert Shanks and Jase Voorhees had a single and a double respectively in the Rocket loss. Robert Shanks pitched 4.1 frames, struck out seven, walked three and allowed nine runs, six earned, on nine hits.
Juniors 4, Plattsmouth 3
A pair of two-run innings delivered a one-run win for Syracuse. The Rockets got four runs on six hits and went without a defensive error.
Connor Thompson had a double while Jase Voorhees and Gavin Kelch had two singles each. Robert Shanks had one single.
Jase Voorhees pitched six innings, struck out 12, walked three and allowed two earned runs on two hits. Connor Thompson pitched an inning, struck out two, walked one and allowed one earned run on two hits.
Seniors 10, Auburn 4
Barrett Bischoff went 3-for-4 at the plate with a doube and a triple and Griffin Goering hit a double in the dominant win. Also with hits were Robert Shanks, Cooper Carlson, Sawyer Brammier, Kayden DeGolyer, Braden LaFollette and Connor Thompson.
Cooper Carlson pitched 6.2 frames, struck out five, walked one and allowed four runs, three earned, on seven hits. Micah Harvey pitched one strikeout.
Seniors 14, Tecumseh 4
Five players hit extra base hits including two with home runs and Sawyer Brammier hit 3-fo-3 in a win over Tecumseh. Robert Shanks and Jase Voorhees each had a single and a home run. Cooper Carlson had a single and a double. Kayden DeGolyer and Griffin Goering each had doubles. Braden LaFollette also had a single.
Sawyer Brammier pitched 2.2 frames, struck out four, walked four and allowed four earned runs on three hits. Micah Harvey pitched 2.1 innings, struck out five, walked none and allowed no runs on one hit.
Plattsmouth 7, Seniors 0
Griffin Goering hit a single and a double while Barrett Bischoff had a single in the loss.
Sawyer Brammier pitched 2.2 frames, struck out one, walked four and allowed four unearned runs on three hits. Griffin Goering pitched three innings, struck out five, walked two and allowed three runs, one earned, on four hits. Micah Harvey pitched one strikeout.
