Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our CFL Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for DraftKings to help navigate this week’s slate!
Core Plays
QB- Nathan Rourke $9,500
Rourke went crazy in week one putting up five total touchdowns on his way to 43.08 fantasy points. Dating back to last season that was the second straight game that Rourke had at least 40 fantasy points. This week I don’t see Rourke slowing down despite what looks like a bad match-up against Toronto. Yes, Toronto did not allow a passing touchdown in their only game this season but they still allowed 284 passing yards. They also were not that great in week one against the run which would continue a trend from last season in which they allowed the third-most rushing yards per game and the most rushing yards per attempt. Those numbers jump out at me when it comes to Rourke as he has rushed for 112 yards and five touchdowns over his past two games dating back to last season.
RB- Jamal Morrow $7,500
I had Morrow here last week saying that he would have a huge game on both the ground and through the passing game and that is exactly what took place. Morrow rushed for 126 yards and a score while also catching four passes for 28 yards on his way to 31.25 fantasy points. This week I am expecting Morrow to continue his strong contributions in the passing game as he has at least three catches in each game this season while also having a big game on the ground once again as he takes on a Montreal run defense that has struggled some to start the year. Through two games Montreal has allowed the third-most rushing yards per game, third-most rushing yards per attempt, and third-most rushing touchdowns.
WR- Tim White $8,100
Bralon Addison gets all the love from most people for the Tiger-Cats. While I like Addison, White is the Tiger-Cats player that has my heart. The reason why I like White more than Addison is his ability to break away. ACcording to the CFL website, White is third in the league with 73 yards after the catch. White is also four with 18 targets. White showed the big-play potential I am discussing in spades last week as he had 11 catches for 131 yards and a score. White should have plenty of opportunities to go off once again this week as he takes on a Winnipeg defense that has allowed 355.5 passing yards per game which is most in the CFL through the first two weeks of the season.
