A bizarre 6 gamer turned 5 rain filled slate with multiple delays and chalk pitchers busting..

Last night was an interesting slate to say the least. With rain ending one game early and wiping out another options were sparse. Let’s take a look at the winning Relay Throw lineup with 50K up top and see what the winner did to take first.
Well well well what do we have here another classic case of the chalk pitchers BUSTING. If you opted to go any other direction then the chalk at pitcher last night you put yourself in a great position to profit on the slate and potentially take first. Blake Snell and Cristian Javier sitting at 49.4% and 42.2% ownership combined to score less than 5 fantasy points. If you rostered the Mets against Snell (mainly needing Eduardo Escobar and his cycle) you were sitting pretty. Ironically the Reds/Diamondbacks game did get to 7th innings before it was washed out. The Dbacks didn’t score a run but some Reds bats were useful and the 18% who had the guts to roster Hunter Greene were rewarded with 35 fantasy points.
The winning lineup:

“yourboya2307” faded the chalk at pitcher and rode a slew of different bats to 50K.
Salary Used: $49,900 | Pitcher Ownership: 41.4%
Lineup Construction | Place in the Batting Order
3 man: 3-4-6
2 man: 1-3
one offs: 7-6-8
On a 5 game slate you are more likely to see the mashup of bats being “optimal” as you can see above. 2 major keys to cashing on the 5 game slate were fading the chalk at Pitcher and being a part of the 7% that rostered Eduardo Escobar who put up a monster 44 fantasy points. This lineup got leverage off of Cristian Javier as well by going to the 3 man Mariners stack at single digit ownership. If you were going to roster Blue Jays and eat the chalk there, this lineup is a good reference point for making leveraged pivots at the other lineup positions where you still can benefit from the raw points that the Jays put up and bypass the field.
Key Takeaway: By now we really have entered beating the dead horse territory with chalk pitching. I think we need to take it to another level and try to identify these second tier of pitchers to help you win with your lineups.
