DraftKings CoD Esports DFS Rundown (CDL) – May 29, 2022 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

London Royal Ravens (LDN) vs. Seattle Surge (SEA) (3:00 PM EST) (-138 SEA)

LDN have begun to regress as of late and will be facing a streaking a SEA team that’s on a three-game winning streak at the moment. LDN have defeated SEA 3-1 the last time these teams faced off but that was at the beginning of the game with their first lineup as well. Search and destroy was the only gametype LDN lost last time and will be even more crucial this time with both teams being tied at 10-12 records in the mode currently. Accuracy and Mack both played a major part in SEA’s success by having 1.14 kills per round (most for SEA) and could potentially cause LDN some problems this time. Zer0 is the only player with a kill-death ratio above 1 with their submachine gun mains (Afro/Nastie) having the most first-bloods at 30. However, Accuracy has been the most consistent for SEA with a 0.99 K/D and not too far behind with 26 first bloods. That being said this matchup should be closer this time and with LDN struggling as of late SEA should be able to find an opening especially with LDN having a different lineup.

Boston Breach (BOS) vs. Florida Mutineers (FLA) (4:30 PM EST) (-128 FLA)

BOS have not looked like themselves as of late but luckily for them FLA have been struggling as well with both teams trying to rebound from a two-game losing streak. FLA have yet to edge out a victory against BOS as of late but their last matchup went down to the wire 2-3. Search and destroys have also been bad for FLA lately which doesn’t bode well for them entering this match because they were 0-2 against BOS last time in the gametype. Capsidal dominated last time with his submachine gun aggression (2.13 K/D) along with his main anchor/assault rifle main in Methodz being right behind him with the second highest percentage of kills (26.3%). BOS also has a 5-8 record in the S&D’s as of late compared to FLA’s 3-8 so BOS should have a chance to capitalize this series here.

Los Angeles Thieves (LAT) vs. OpTic Texas (OTX) (6:00 PM EST) (-303 TX)

LAT seem to be clicking a little more with some more coaching added to their staff but this match should be a difficult one against an OTX team looking to rebound from a tough loss. LAT also defeated OTX recently in their last matchup but it was with one of their other substitutes in JordonGeneral. Respawn gametypes will be important here with OTX going 0-3 in (0-2 in Hardpoint, 0-1 in Control). Since the addition of PROLUTE to the roster, OTX have been 8-2 in the respawn gametypes while LAT have been 5-6 so OTX may have the edge here. Also, the battle of the assault rifle mains may end up being key for their team’s success and Dashy has been more consistent in the respawns with a 1.27 K/D since the last faceoff with LAT and Octane is not too far behind with a 1.17 K/D. Despite the hot series from Octane yesterday it may be too difficult to counter Dashy on the respawns which may end up being a large reason for OTX prevailing.
