Team Vitality (VIT) v.s. mousesports (MOUZ) (3:00 AM EST) (-250 VIT)
Both teams enter this match after getting swept 2-0 in their previous matches. The main sniper of VIT (ZywOo) who plays a crucial part in his team’s success was outplayed by the opposing sniper so that seems to be his downfall if the opposing sniper is better. Also, ZywOo will have another tough matchup against torzsi who has been more consistent than him as of late with a 1.43 K/D compared to ZywOo’s 1.38 K/D. The fact that VIT’s highest damage dealer in apex has been struggling slaying wise may put VIT at risk of losing once again. Unless ZywOo can perform as well as he did in the previous matchup these teams had +37 kill-death differential, but easier said than done and this match may end up going either way.
OG Gaming (OG) v.s. Eternal Fire (EF) (3:00 AM EST) (-245 OG)
OG enters this match with a slightly higher win-rate (68.8%) while EF has a 58.5% win-rate. In addition, both teams will look to extend their one-game winning streak. Mantuu has been OG’s strongest player and anchor as a sniper main (1.67 K/D) and should be EF’s main priority in battle. No one is even close from EF to the consistency of mantuu which should give OG a strong edge, especially when the opposing sniper in woxic who only has a 1.03 K/D. That being said the most reliable damage dealer may end up being XANTARES (84.5 per round) which is highest of both teams, but it will be difficult for him to carry the load. It also doesn’t help that they lost to one of the best snipers in the game two games ago which complements the fact EF may struggle here.
SAW (SAW) v.s. Outsiders (OUT) (5:00 AM EST) (-418 EST)
To conclude the slate, the rankings are more one-sided but in favor of OUT who enter as 9th in the world and on a one-game winning streak versus a SAW team on the rise at 31st with a one-game losing streak. The experience against top teams should give OUT a slight advantage alone, but there’s potential for the two riflemen that deal the most damage for both teams (YEKINDAR- VIT, MUTiRiS- SAW) to go back and forth and keep it close for their teams. Luckily for YEKINDAR, he’s coming off a positive kill-death differential series and is dealing more damage at 80.7 versus MUTiRiS coming off a rough series (78 damage per round), so OUT should benefit more from the duels these two have. That being said if YEKINDAR is complemented by his teammate and main sniper/anchor Jame support (after coming off a +17 kill-death differential game), OUT will be difficult to defeat.
