DraftKings CoD Esports DFS Rundown (CDL) – April 2, 2022 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

OpTic Texas (OTX) v.s. Los Angeles Thieves (LAT) (3:00 PM EST) (-600 TX)

OTX were able to get things rolling again in Loser’s Bracket and now get a rematch with LAT in which they won in the previous matchup these teams had 3-2. With hardpoint and search and destroy being the only two gametypes OTX lost in which may be key to the winner of this series. OTX should have the edge here if it goes down to the wire again with a 10-4 record in these gametypes compared to LAT’s 6-9 record. Dashy may be the main factor of OTX’s chance at success here with a 1.14 K/D across the Hardpoint/Search and destroy gametypes. Ther closest player to that range from LAT would be Envoy who currently has a 1.09 in these gametypes but with the opposing submachine gun main in Shotzzy having a 1.39 K/D, things may get difficult for Envoy to do alone for his team. In other words, OTX should win here.

Florida Mutineers (FLA) v.s. Boston Breach (BOS) (4:30 PM EST) (-260 BOS)

A rematch will go underway with these two teams as well and BOS swept FLA not too long ago before this Major 2 as well. Methodz was the most consistent player for BOS in that series who finished with a 1.83 K/D in the main assault rifle role and it bodes well for him to perform well again, especially with a 1.5 K/D currently. This would pan out well for BOS’ to succeed as well since FLA’s most consistent players have been their assault rifle main players as of late. With Skyz regressing slightly, Davpadie might be relied on even more to help his FLA teammates in getting their revenge. Unfortunately, Methodz may be too much for Davpadie to handle right now so pressure would be applied on the other FLA players. The series can still go either way though since Methodz is the only player since that matchup with a K/D above 1 across all gametypes.

Seattle Surge (SEA) v.s. Atlanta FaZe (ATL) (6:00 PM EST) (-300 ATL)

The only team in the game to defeat ATL consistently will now get a rematch once again and coming off a dominant win against the best team in the game their last game. This will definitely give SEA a good amount of momentum going into this match. Mack was a significant factor for SEA’s win with the highest kill-death ratio for his team (1.08 K/D). On the other hand, Sib has stepped up massively for his team in the flex assault rifle main role since then with the second most engagements on his team in all gametypes. Therefore, he may get caught in the mix against one of the best flex assault rifle mains in the game in the majority of battles against Cellium of ATL. The search and destroy will also be crucial for the success of either team since it has been the gametype ATL has been unable to beat SEA in during the last matchup with SEA. Simp has been finally finding his form which could be scary for SEA due to his playmaking and being the most efficient in search and destroy since the last matchup with a 1.48 K/D. This could give ATL the extra push they need especially when two of SEA’s players have had less than a 1 kill-death ratio on S&D. Regardless, this match can potentially go down to the wire once again, but ATL may have look to prevent mistakes OTX made against SEA and probably get their revenge against SEA.
