The NBA Rundown – FanDuel & DraftKings NBA DFS Picks – March 29, 2022 (3/29/22) – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Please note that players on DraftKings and FanDuel have multi-position eligibility and may not always match their position with each other. In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to always keep your eye on the news as the day progresses, as NBA news changes the slate frequently.

Guard

Russell Westbrook ($8,800 DK, $8,100 FD)

Westbrook is coming off a bad game against the Pelicans but prior to that game, he had looked like he was turning the corner a bit with at least 42 fantasy points in his four previous games. That is the Westbrook I expect to show up tonight as LeBron James is doubtful. This season when not sharing the court with James and Davis Westbrook has a usage increase of 6.7% to 33.9% and is averaging 1.30 fantasy points per minute.

Tomas Satoransky ($4,100 DK, $3,600 FD)

Satoransky moved into the Wizards’ starting lineup two games ago and if he is in the starting lineup again tonight he is one of the best value plays on the slate. In his two starts, Satoransky has played at least 29 minutes and is averaging 7.5 points, three rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.5 steals. Satoranksy has at least 23 fantasy points in each of those games and has hit that mark in each of the past three games he has played over 25 minutes this season.

Forward

Wenyen Gabriel ($4,000 DK, $3,500 FD)

On a larger slate, I probably would not be rostering Gabriel but with only five games on the slate, Gabriel is looking like a decent punt play to be able to afford some of the studs on this slate. The reason why Gabriel stands out as a decent punt play is the fact that he has started four of the last five games for the Lakers and looks to be a lock to start again tonight with LeBron James doubtful. Gabriel has looked pretty good from a fantasy perspective in his starts as well with at least 22 fantasy points in three of the starts.

Marvin Bagley III ($5,600 DK, $6,300 FD)

Bagley III is finally getting a chance to play steady minutes now that he is on the Pistons and he is showing why he was such a high draft pick. Bagley III has looked especially good in the month of March. In his 12 games this month, Bagley is averaging 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.3 steals+blocks in 29.4 minutes of action. Bagley has at least 25 fantasy points in all but two of those games and is averaging over a fantasy point per minute in the month.

Center

Andre Drummond ($5,500 DK, $6,600 FD)

121.50 18.9% 1.32 24th 51.93

Drummond’s minutes have been all over the place which makes him a little hard to trust but on smaller slates such as this one you have to take some chances. I am more than willing to take the chance on Drummond due to the fact that even in small minutes he can put up big numbers. Drummond is averaging 1.32 fantasy points per minute on the season and has produced at least 27 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games despite only playing above 25 minutes in three of those games. The match-up against the Pistons also sets up nicely for Drummond as they have the worst team rebounding rate in the NBA and Drummond has been one of the best rebounders in the NBA for the past five or six years now.
