Team Vitality (VIT) v.s. FURIA Esports (7:30 AM EST) (-150 VIT)
VIT were finally slowed down in their last matchup and their strongest anchor in ZywOo was outplayed by the opposing sniper which gives VIT a crucial blow when it does happen. Despite FURIA being on a two-game winning streak it may be tough for them to repeat that process against VIT, especially after being swept by them 2-0 in their last faceoff. ZywOo was also the most efficient slayer in that past matchup with a +11 kill-death differential. Entering this matchup FURIA’s main sniper in saffee will be neck and neck in damage with ZywOo at 65 versus his 64.1 damage per round. However, ZywOo is averaging more assists per round at 0.10 compared to his 0.07. KSCERATO does have the most damage as of late out of both teams at 85.8 so there’s a possibility that may help FURIA capitalize off that edge and get their revenge but this match can go either way.
Outsiders (OUT) v.s. Team ENCE (ENCE) (11:00 AM EST) (-138 OUT)
Both teams in this matchup are on winning streaks (OUT- 1 game, ENCE-2 games) and coming off arguably upset wins. The battle of the snipers will be crucial in this game as well, with Jame of OUT coming off a +15 kill-death differential game and hades coming off a +14 kill-death differential game against one of the best snipers in the game. Since both Jame/hades have the same assist rate at 0.09 there should be no surprise if their battles go back and forth throughought the match to help their teams. However, hades has the damage edge of 74.3 compared to Jame’s 67.3 so this may give ENCE the better chance. Also, Spinx has maintained his high damage rate of 83 per round which can potentially be a problem for OUT since he has been the strongest slayer as of late out of both teams. That being said, ENCE should be able to keep their momentum going here in this faceoff.
Team SPROUT (SPT) v.s. FaZe Clan (FAZE) (2:30 AM EST) (-563 FAZE)
To conclude the slate both teams here will look to rebound off of a two-game losing streak. The last time these teams faced off the series ended up being close and in favor of FAZE (16-14 victory). The most dominant player for FAZE in that previous matchup in rain has been regressing and coming off a negative kill-death differential game so another player may have to step up to help FAZE prevail. SPT’s most consistent player in slaxz- will also be coming off a rough game as well, so there’s a chance for a player to spark on either side to get their team a victory. Broky has been the most consistent player out of both teams with a 1.38 K/D though and was the second highest slayer in the previous matchup these teams had so more than likely he may be relied on to contribute most for his FAZE squad. Due to his consistency and slaxz- having a rough game FAZE may have the opening they need to finally get back on pace to winning and potentially repeat their victory against SPT.
