Ambush (AMBSH) v.s. ALTERNATE aTTaX (ALTA) (9:00 AM EST)
Both teams enter this match on one game win-streaks with win-rates in similar ranges (ALTA- 33.3%, AMBSH- 46.2%). Last time these teams met ALTA won the series 2-1. However, none of those players are on the same lineup currently from that winning lineup. SIXER on the other hand, has potential to cause the most trouble for ALTA as AMBSH’s main sniper and highest damage dealer at 89.8 per round. No one on ALTA is dealing close to t hat much damage besides awzek (but less at 84.5 per round). Since ALT has a less efficient sniper main the battles may become more of a struggle for them.
ECLOT (ECL) v.s. Astralis Talent (ASTLN) (9:00 AM EST)
ASTLN has the ranking edge here of 75th compared to ECLOT’s 150th rank. Slaying has been ECL’s biggest flaw as of late with the majority of the players having kill-death rations below 1 besides capseN (Who is barely above a 1 K/D). That being said ASTLN should dominate here in this matchup due to them having more efficient players. Fessor leads both teams with a 1.10 K/D and should be expected to contribute the most for ASTLN to succeed. Also, Fessor is also coming off a +7 kill-death differential game which bodes well for him to perform well again and no one else on ECL is close to dealing as much damage as him.
EC Brugge (ECB) v.s. Young Ninjas (YN) (12:00 PM EST)
Another matchup will go underway with the rankings having a gap (YN- 74th, ECB– 160th) which can give YN a strong edge. Although, YN has two players dealing 80+ damage per round, ECB has the strongest slayer in ritchiEE coming off a +9 kill-death differential game. (88 damage per round) that can cause havoc against YN. The only problem for ritchiEE is that he doesn’t have a teammate as consistent as him which puts a ton of more pressure on him and the rest of his ECB teammates. The experience in matches will also help YN slightly more and if they’re able to slow down ritchiEE they can potentially run away with a victory here.
eSuba (ESUBA) v.s. Sampi (SAMPI) (12:00 PM EST)
To conclude the slate, another matchup that can go heavily in one way with SAMPI being ranked 80th and ESUBA being 146th. The success for ESUBA also falls heavily on their top sniper in Blogg1s who is the most efficient at the moment for them with a 1.13 K/D and 32.8% headshot rate. On the other hand, zur1s the opposing sniper of SAMPI is more efficient with a 1.47 K/D as of now and 84.5 damage per round which could cause ESUBA to struggle. Fortunately for SAMPI, queztone is also dealing damage in the similar range (85.7) which makes matters worse for ESUBA. In other words, there should be no surprised if ESUBA is swept here.
