Evil Genuises (EG) v.s. Immortals (IMT) (3:30 PM) (-333 EG)

EG find themselves in the middle of the pack of teams and a currently on a two-game losing streak, but may get the benefit of facing an IMT team at the bottom of the standings and also on a two-game losing streak. IMT have been the most least efficient slaying team in the league so far with a 0.47 team overall K/D which should cause them to value the objective in the match even more. Although, EG is not that much better in slaying with a 0.73 team overall K/D, they do have a 46% dragon control rate versus IMT’s 35%. Danny has been the most efficient slayer out of both teams with a 3.8 KDA and 36.6% damage rate which will bode well for him to perform well in bot-lane (attack-damage carry) for EG. The fact that EG has double the first blood rate (40%) to IMT’s (20%) may also result in EG starting off in an even deeper hole to start and most likely a continuous struggle throughout the match.

100 Thieves (100) v.s. FlyQuest (FLY) (4:30 PM EST) (-228 100)

100 has been the top team in the league so far with a current two-game winning streak but will clash with a FLY squad that is tied with them for first and same 4-1 record. Both teams are strong in the objective and have slaying as a team on the higher hand, but 100’s biggest edge will be in the jungle lane where they have a 53.3% rating compared to FLY’s 47.5%. Despite FLY having a stronger slayer in Johnsun in bot-lane with a 9.2 KDA he may go back and forth with the opposing bot-laner in FBI who has been more efficient with a 12.5 KDA. Also, 100 has one of the strongest slayers in the game overall in ssumday at top-lane with a 17.3 KDA which will be worth the worry for FLY. In addition, 100 also has a support main in Huhi who has a higher damage rate of 7.7% compared to the opposing support main of Aphromoo (6.9%). Therefore, 100 should get efficient support and possibly enough to continue their win streak.

Cloud9 (C9) v.s. Team SoloMid FTX (TSM) (5:30 PM EST) (-453 C9)

TSM have been at the bottom of the standings with a 1-4 record and unfortunately, will face off with a team in C9 that are in the top half of the standings with a 3-2 record. TSM has had the third-worst mid-lane rating so far with a -6.9 rate, which could be what C9 exploits first since they have an 8.7 rating. This sets up Fudge to have a good performance, and luckily for C9 he is the second most efficient slayer with 3.4 KDA. Winsome has also been the most efficient slayer for the team overall, but there is a chance he may get countered by the opposing support main in Yursan if they do face off. However, C9 should still be able to prevail in this matchup.

Dignitas (DIG) v.s. Golden Guardians (GG) (6:30 PM EST) (-197 DIG)

Both teams in this matchup will look to rebound from their one-game loss and are not too far from each other in the standings with DIG being fourth and GG being sixth at the moment. The objective is extremely close for both teams, but C9 has the slight edge with a dragon control rate of 63% compared to DIG’s 57%. The mid-lane has also been poor for both teams with a -3.4 mid-lane rating for DIG versus GG’s -9.3 rating. Therefore, the mid-laners are even more important and although Ablazeolive has been dealing the highest damage as of late at 31.3% out of both teams, Blue has been the more consistent slayer for DIG with a 9.8 KDA. Also, with Biofrost being a more efficient slayer with a 6.4 KDA and 2.8 cspm (monsters/minions killed) he may end up helping his DIG teammates too much for them to lose here.

Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) v.s. Team Liquid (TL) (7:30 PM EST) (-900 TL)

A mismatch will go underway here to conclude the slate, with TL having the strongest win-streak in the league right now (four games) and facing off with a team tied for last in CLG. CLG has the worst mid-lane so far in the league with a -22.5 rating which works out perfectly for CLG since they’re the second best in mid-lane with a 15 rating so far. Bjergsen should dominate for TL here with a 12.3 KDA which is amongst the top in the league overall and the highest damage rate in mid-lane (28.6%). No one is close to that slaying caliber for CLG and their average tower difference of -4.4 compared to TL’s +4.4 may result in them struggling objectively as well. However, if CLG is able to maintain their lane control edge (51.4% versus TL’s 51.1%) they have a good chance to put up a good fight. This would put even more pressure on Luger to perform well as the attack damage-carry for CLG, but the opposing bot-laner in Hans sama won’t make it easy for him and is averaging slightly more damage (TL- 27.6%, CLG- 27.1%).
