Over a year since the release of the latest Xbox and PlayStation consoles, Microsoft and Sony are still struggling to get next gen consoles in the hands of their ravenous fans. While picking up a PlayStation 5 (at retail price) is a difficult prospect, the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles are a bit easier to find these days. Thankfully, with the Series X, you can get lucky and find yourself on a short waitlist without much effort. However, if you aren’t looking to spend over A$750 and want to get into the latest games right away, right now you can pick up an Xbox Series S on Amazon and (depending on your location) be playing Halo Infinite or Forza Horizon 5 this weekend.

Just a week ago, this Fortnite and Rocket League bundle was A$579. So it’s good to see these prices starting to come down, and be far more accessible to casual gamers, some of whom are still tied to 8-9 year old hardware. It’s especially great value seeing as the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition Fortnite Battle Royale Bundle is still only $150 less at A$349 over on the Microsoft Store.
