Season 1 of Rocket League Sideswipe kicked off for mobile devices during December 2021, and now we have the second season going live on February 2nd (tomorrow), bringing with it a new volleyball mode along with new modes and features.

Besides the new, and still free, Season 2 Rocket Pass, you’ll find classic items such as Supernova, Dueling Dragons Goal Explosions, Sunset 1986 Wheels, the Breakout Car, and more making their return to the game. If you are just looking for a quick game between classes or meetings, the Casual Playlist will let you practice your skills against real opponents without affecting your rank.

The new Volleyball mode consists of a 2v2 game with a central net, a new ball, and not a goal in sight. Just like volleyball in real life, points are scored when the ball touches the floor with players able to use powerful spikes and last-second saves.

As Season 1 comes to a close, all Competitive Ranks will be reset. Don’t worry—your hard work will be generously rewarded! Players will receive season-exclusive Titles and Quick Chat Stickers based on their peak rank during Season 1.

The game update will go live from 4 pm PST on February 2nd, so keep an eye out for the new additions and the intriguing Volleyball Mode.
