DRX (DRX) v.s. T1 Esports (T1) (3:00 AM EST) (-563 T1)

DRX have been having a rough start this season and are currently winless and now face the fifth best team in T1 in the group. DRX currently has the worst mid-lane in the league right now at -39.7 and fortunately, T1 is the second-best team in that regard. Therefore, Faker has the opportunity here to give T1 a massive edge in this matchup. The jungle rate also has quite a gap for both teams (T1- 53.6%, DRX– 44.9%) which sets up Oner to perform well for T1 as well. Oner also has the highest kill-participation for T1 at 73.8% which may result in him carrying the majority of the load for T1. Regardless, DRX may have too many odds against them in this match and may potentially get dominated.

Rare Atom (RA) v.s. Victory Five (V5) (4:00 AM EST) (-120 RA)

RA find themselves in the middle of the pack in the standings against a V5 team that is working their way up the standings. RA will already be at a disadvantage slaying wise with a team overall K/D of 0.90 compared to V5’s 1.31. Photic is becoming one of the most dominant attack-damage carries in the league with a current 11 KDA that no one is close to at the moment from RA slaying wise. This may put more pressure on Strive to help his RA from the mid-lane but Rookie is not too far behind him in efficiency (4.4 to 5.4 KDA). V5 also has the objective advantage with a 64% dragon control rate compared to RA’s 56% which should cause even more problems for RA while they try to improve their slaying as a team.

Bilibili Gaming (BLG) v.s. Oh My God (OMG) (6:00 AM EST) (-168 BLG)

OMG have become one of the few surprising teams so far this season and are currently on a three-game winning streak against a BLG team trying to get a streak going too. Crème has been dominant for OMG with a current 10 KDA in the mid-lane position BLG has been starting matches stronger though as of late (100% first-blood rate compared to OMG’s 50%), so this would be there best chance to work towards getting an upset win. Crisp more than likely would be the person to contribute due to him having the highest kill-participation (75.7%) on the BLG squad as the support. Also, if Crisp is successful the slaying should get easier for his teammates as he helps them. However, relying mainly on momentum may not be enough to counter OMG, but this game may go down to the wire.

Fredit BRION (BRO) v.s. Gen.G (GEN) (6:00 AM EST) (-525 GEN)

BRO and GEN are not too far from each other record wise to start the season but BRO has been among the bottom half of teams in slaying efficiency (0.91 KD). GEN has a gap in their favor in this regard with a 1.37 KD which should make accomplishing the objective easier. The first-tower rate of 60% for GEN versus BRO’s 17% will also complement that fact for GEN. With Chovy being the most relied upon slayer for GEN at the mid-lane position and 9.4 average monster/minion kill rate per minute (cspm) he may more than likely do the most damage to BRO and be one of the first initiators toward the objective. Unfortuantely, BRO doesn’t have anyone as efficient slaying wise, but they do have two players with 9+ cspm on their team. This should allow them to compete objectively, but the slaying has to improve first.
