UFC lightweight Conor McGregor recently shared a heartwarming video on his social media that sees him spending some quality time with his son. Conor McGregor Jr. is often seen on his father’s Instagram and is also present when ‘Notorious’ trains. This time, however, things are slightly more relaxed as the father-son duo can be seen playing Fortnite and Call of Duty on the TV.

Fans can see McGregor helping his son select the most optimal gear as they sit comfortably on the couch. Furthermore, the room is decorated with Christmas decorations, thus truly ringing in the holiday spirit.

What’s more, McGregor Jr. displayed off some impressive dance moves that amused his father as he watched on.

How will 2022 shape up for Conor McGregor?

The Irishman had a rough year in 2021 as he went 0-2 against Dustin Poirier to conclude their trilogy. He was cleanly knocked out in the UFC 257 fight and subsequently suffered a near career-ending leg break at UFC 264. It’s safe to say McGregor has had better years in the past.

However, he has been back in the training room and will be optimistic about making things right in 2022. Conor McGregor looks absolutely jacked in his recent pictures, indicating a possible move up to the 170-pound weight class.

There are several exciting fights at welterweight for McGregor to take on and he’ll want to maintain an active strength of schedule. Not to mention, ‘Notorious’ has enough star power to move closer to a title shot than other staple welterweight contenders. It all depends on how he’s able to heal up from his devastating UFC 264 injury.

Anderson Silva, who suffered a similar injury against Chris Weidman, never truly came back the same. Hence, all eyes will be on McGregor to see if the catastrophic leg break has affected his striking and fighting abilities. Also, there’s additional pressure on Conor McGregor’s shoulders as he desperately needs to return to winning ways.
