Boba Fett is coming to Fortnite just in time for Christmas!

Fortnite players are currently able to deck out their lockers with three different free winter-themed Outfits. The holiday cheer has also spread to the Item Shop, which is rotating a selection of festive getups and accessories.

It’s not all about Christmas though! Just last week new Spider-Man and MJ cosmetics arrived along with an in-game Mythic item to celebrate the launch of Spider-Man: No way home.

Of course, Epic is no stranger to big name collaborations and this next one is no exception. Boba Fett is coming to Fortnite on December 24 at 7PM ET, ahead of the debut episode of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney Plus.

This is not the first time that Fortnite has incorporated the Star Wars universe. In 2019, players enjoyed an interactive live experience which included an exclusive scene premiere from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and during Chapter 2 Season 5, The Mandalorian patrolled the Island itself.

The only official word we have about the upcoming crossover is a social media post from Epic Games confirming the date and sharing a teaser image. Here’s what we can expect:

In the picture Boba Fett is sitting aside Fennec Shand, suggesting that they may both become purchasable Outfits. They will likely be accompanied by matching Pickaxes and Back Blings etc. and be available separately or as a bundle.

Though we can’t yet be sure on the prices, they will probably mirror the Spider-Man gear. This means 1,500 V-Bucks for individual skins, 2,300 for the bundle, and 800 for the Pickaxe.

There have not been any leaks to suggest that Boba Fett, or any of his equipment will appear in-game but it’s definitely possible. The many Mandalorian-style buildings around the map would make the perfect spot for a new bounty hunter NPC.

Dataminer @HYPEX hinted earlier this season that the screen at Rocky Reels could broadcast Boba Fett related footage, however this was more of a guess based on previous events. Whatever happens, December 24 is going to be a good day for Star Wars fans.
