Please note that players on DraftKings and FanDuel have multi-position eligibility and may not always match their position between each other. In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to keep your eye on the news as the day progresses, as NBA news frequently changes the slate.
Point Guard
Dejounte Murray ($9,900 DK, $9,000 FD)
| PLAYER | TEAM | GP | W | L | MIN | PTS | TOUCHES | REB CHANCES | POTENTIAL AST |
| Dejounte Murray | SAS | 27 | 10 | 17 | 34.3 | 17.7 | 86.2 | 14 | 15.3 |
The Spurs matchup with the remnants of the Kings roster tonight in Sacramento. Even when they are at full strength, the Kings rank 29th in Defensive Rating and 6th in Pace. This season, Murray has been an animal, stuffing the stat sheet in all categories to the tune of 1.17 fantasy points per minute. Murray should have his way with the Kings, and I like his ceiling in this spot.
Shooting Guard
LaMelo Ball ($9,500 DK, $9,600 FD)
| PLAYER | TEAM | GP | W | L | MIN | PTS | TOUCHES | REB CHANCES | POTENTIAL AST |
| LaMelo Ball | CHA | 23 | 13 | 10 | 33.4 | 19.9 | 89.4 | 12.3 | 13.7 |
The Hornets currently have the number 2 ranked offensive rating in the league, and tonight they travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns and their 3rd rated Defensive Rating. These two teams haven’t been impacted as much by health and safety protocols, so they are close to full strength. LaMelo is averaging 1.30 fantasy points per minute, and the Suns are currently ranked 27th in fantasy points allowed to the Point Guard position.
Small Forward
Harrison Barnes ($6,300 DK, $6,000 FD)
| PLAYER | TEAM | GP | W | L | MIN | PTS | TOUCHES | REB CHANCES | POTENTIAL AST |
| Harrison Barnes | SAC | 23 | 8 | 15 | 33.2 | 17.6 | 51.7 | 11.6 | 3.4 |
Due to health and safety protocols, the Kings are missing multiple key players in their rotation tonight; we should see Barnes play big minutes against the Spurs. The small forward position is a little thin tonight, and Barnes is in the sweet spot of price and opportunity.
Power Forward
Kristaps Porzingis ($8,800 DK, $8,700 FD)
| PLAYER | TEAM | GP | W | L | MIN | PTS | TOUCHES | REB CHANCES | POTENTIAL AST |
| Kristaps Porzingis | DAL | 21 | 11 | 10 | 30.2 | 19.7 | 52.9 | 13.8 | 3.4 |
Luka Doncic continues to be out with an ankle injury, and the Mavericks have also been hit hard by health and safety protocols. In 799 minutes with Doncic off the floor, Porzingis averages 1.24 fantasy points per minute.
Center
Nikola Vucevic ($9,200 DK, $8,900 FD)
| PLAYER | TEAM | GP | W | L | MIN | PTS | TOUCHES | REB CHANCES | POTENTIAL AST |
| Nikola Vucevic | CHI | 20 | 13 | 7 | 33.2 | 15.2 | 72.4 | 17.6 | 6.5 |
The Bulls also have multiple players on health and safety protocols, most notably Zach LaVine. In 528 minutes with Zach LaVine off the floor, Vucevic averages 1.40 fantasy points per minute. The Bulls take on the Lakers, who have their laundry list of injuries tonight. Currently, the Lakers play at the Fastest Pace in the league and have the 9th best Defensive Rating.
