Future city built in Minecraft
A total of around 11,000 pieces of land were built on a digital play area for the game “Minecraft”. According to DAM, aspects such as mobility, working and living, digitization and the urban climate were taken up and implemented in the urban planning visions.
“The aim of the project was to playfully focus on future issues of architecture,” announced the museum. The average age of the participants was 14 years.
In the computer game “Minecraft”, players can create their own digital world by building houses and settlements. The game is one of the most successful games worldwide.
