Hell Let Loose Quality of Life Patch 2 early patch notes

In a tweet on November 9, Hell Let Loose’s devs gave us an early indication of what the Quality of Life Patch 2 will include.

Here are all of the issues confirmed so far:

  • Map Rotation
  • Communication
  • Soft lock when joining squads
  • XP issues

They said that they’re “working hard to ensure this update is deployed in the best state possible,” and will “share the full change list details with you once the patch is imminent.”

Map Rotation

Console Hell Let Loose players have long complained that the map rotation isn’t working as it should. The current map rotation has Utah Beach appearing three times in a row, and some players still haven’t played on certain maps because of it.

The QOL Patch 2 should fix this issue, giving players much more variety in what maps they play on.

Soft lock when joining squads

Players have also been getting ‘soft locked’ while trying to join squads, and Black Matter has confirmed a fix.

This issue stops players from being able to join any squad, and they have to back out of the game and try again to fix it. However, some players report that bringing up the scoreboard can provide a quick fix.

Communication and XP issues

Black Matter also confirmed fixes for communication and XP issues. There isn’t any way of knowing exactly what will be fixed, but players have complained that there is too much clutter in communication channels when playing as Squad Leader, and some tasks don’t reward enough XP.

We’re likely to know more when the full patch notes drop.

And that’s everything revealed so far about Hell Let Loose’s Quality of Life Patch 2 for Xbox and PlayStation.
