The Combat Pistol was introduced in the latest Fortnite: Battle Royale Hotfix, V18.30

The Combat Pistol replaces the standard Pistol in chests, as ground loot, and as a retrievable item from fishing. It possesses strong firepower, as well as a tighter bullet spread, at the expense of heavy recoil. A steady trigger finger will be required to truly take advantage of the Combat Pistol.

In addition to the Combat Pistol being added, the Sideways Rifle has also received a Buff, according to The Fortnite Team. The rifle reaches its superpowered state faster, stays there longer, as has increased accuracy. The weapon was first introduced in The Sideways alongside the arrival of the Cube Monsters, and has been a powerful weapon for players to use in battle.

In addition, The Fortnite Team also noted that the Shadow Flopper has been vaulted in competitive playlists. All of the latest changes are available now for the next time you drop into the Island to battle.
