Fortnite’s
latest update v18.30 is now live with the new Icy Grappler and the return of a classic. 

Welcome the Icy grappler 

The Icy Grappler is a fitting addition to the game, given the colder weather we’re experiencing right now. A twist on the classic, the new item will have you moving right after you stick that landing. 

Here’s how it works: the regular Grappler has the players shoot its suction cup and fly away from trouble and onto a solid surface. The Icy Grappler does the same thing and a little bit extra: the item freezes your character’s feet just enough so you can continue sliding away once you’ve reached your intended destination.

• The Icy Grappler is an Exotic item and can be exchanged for Bars from Fabio Sparklemane.

 The return of the Classic

Back from its stint in the Vault, the Classic Grappler does exactly what it says on the box. It will, classically, fling you away from trouble and onto solid ground, without the bells, whistles or frostbite. Find this classic variant from Chests and Supply Drops.

Horde Rush is sticking around

The Cube Monsters are still outside the Sideways. The Horde Rush limited-time mode and related quests are available past Fortnitemares. You can rush the Horde until November 9 at 13:00 GMT (9 AM ET)
