DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (PGL) – October 31, 2021 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Team Vitality (VIT) v.s. Evil Genuises (EG) (8:00 AM EST)

After being defeated in a match they were expected to win VIT now has a good chance to rebound against a lesser ranked team in EG. EG has also been in a slump lately and trying to recover from their three-game losing streak. ZywOo may not have had the most efficient game for VIT in their last match but this would be an even better opportunity for him to bounce back in that regard. The drastic gap ZywOo has per round lately (83.8) versus the main sniper of EG’s CeRq (68.2) may end up causing the results to go in VIT’s favor. EG has been struggling as of late to get kills as a team and the fact that their main sniper may get dominated could result in EG losing early.

G2 Esports (G2) v.s. Entropiq (ENT) (8:00 AM EST) (-155 G2)

The two hottest streaks on the slate now face off and unfortunately, one must come to an end with G2 entering with a six-game winning streak, and ENT entering with a five-game winning streak. NiKo of G2 is still the most reliable slayer for his team and out of both sides with a 1.27 K/D so he should be expected to contribute most for his squad. However, ENT have a player in El1an right behind NiKo in kill efficiency (1.24 K/D). NiKo does have the upper hand in damage though (93.7 versus 75.1 by El1an) which may lead to NiKo carrying the majority of the weight for his team. Also, G2 happens to have another high damage dealer as of late in the 80+ range from huNter- while no one else on ENT has reached that range which can cause even more problems for ENT. That being said there wouldn’t be surprise here if ENT gets dominated unless they somehow contain NiKo first.

Mousesports (MOUZ) v.s. Team ENCE (ENCE) (11:30 AM EST) (-155 ENCE)

Both teams in this matchup find themselves trying to recover from a two-game losing streak and ENCE may have the slight edge with a 61.8% win-rate compared to MOUZ’s 50%. ENCE has also had MOUZ’s number as of late after defeating MOUZ all three times these teams faced off. Doto was the most consistent for ENCE across those games with a +11 kill-death differential, while ropz carried for his team and was the most efficient slayer out of both teams with a +35 kill-death differential. Lately, doto has been the least consistent slayer on his team with a 0.91 K/D which could give MOUZ an opportunity to finally get their revenge. Ropz has also maintained a high K/D of 1.27 which should cause his team to lead on his again to perform really well. However, someone else will have to step up for MOUZ in order for them to win, because although ropz was consistent in all of the faceoffs these teams had it the contributions by himself wasn’t enough to get a win for his team.

Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) v.s. Natus Vincere (NATUS) (11:30 AM EST) (-180 NATUS)

The marquee matchup on the slate will go underway as the 1st ranked team in NATUS face off with the 2nd ranked team in NIP. Both teams will also be looking to extend their two-game winning streak, but one will come to an end. This will also be the first time these teams face off this year and a faceoff between two of the best snipers in s1mple versus device. S1mple of NATUS is also coming off a +14 kill-death differential game while device is coming off a +11 kill-death differential game so there’s definitely momentum coming from both sides. However, s1mple has been slightly more consistent with a 1.39 K/D compared to device’s 1.24 K/D and accuracy being in favor of s1mple (41.6% headshot rate versus device’s 31.7%). Regardless, this match may end up going back and forth and the next person stepping up for either team will more than likely be critical for their teams’ success. Hampus of NIP has the potential to be that player while averaging the most damage per round out of both sides (85.1) and coming off a +13 kill-death differential game. Therefore, if NIP somehow manages to slow down/shut down s1mple which would be very difficult they may have a decent shot at pulling off the upset and getting the win.
