Top Plays
Bills ($5,000 FD, $4,300 DK)
Opponent | Opponent Team Total | Opponent Points Per Game | Opponent Total Sacks Allowed | Opponent Total Turnovers |
Texans | 16.00 | 22.3 | 6 | 2 |
This Bills defense is as legit as they come. The Bills have allowed 14.7 points per game which is the fourth-fewest in the NFL, have nine sacks which are the seventh-most in the NFL, and have six takeaways which are the fourth-most in the NFL. The Bills defense has produced at least seven fantasy points in each of the past two weeks and is averaging 10.3 fantasy points per game this season which is the fourth-highest on this slate. This week we can expect the Bills to continue to have another big fantasy day as they get to face Davis Mills and the Texans. The Texans’ offense looked solid with Tyrod Taylor under center but with Taylor out last week they looked really bad in Mills’ first career start. In that game against the Panthers who have been another really good defense the Texans only scored nine points while allowing four sacks and nine total quarterback hits.
Titans ($4,900 FD, $3,900 DK)
Opponent | Opponent Team Total | Opponent Points Per Game | Opponent Total Sacks Allowed | Opponent Total Turnovers |
Jets | 19.5 | 6.7 | 15 | 7 |
I don’t think the Titans’ defense is any good at all. They don’t force turnovers and don’t really get after the quarterback. Those are two things you need your defense to be able to do in real life and for fantasy purposes. With that being said it is not hard to like the Titans’ defense this week as they take on the Jets. The Jets have the worst offense in the NFL. This season they are averaging just 6.7 points per game which is the lowest in the NFL. They also turn the ball over a ton with seven giveaways which are second-most in the NFL and don’t protect the quarterback with 15 sacks allowed which is tied for most in the NFL. Each defense that has played the Jets this season has produced at least nine fantasy points and overall they are allowing 15.67 fantasy points per game to opposing defenses which is the most in the NFL.

Lions ($4,100 FD, $2,200 DK)
Opponent | Opponent Team Total | Opponent Points Per Game | Opponent Total Sacks Allowed | Opponent Total Turnovers |
Bears | 22.75 | 13.3 | 15 | 3 |
If you are spending down at the defensive position this week I really like the Lions especially on DraftKings where they are only $200 above the site minimum salary for the position. The Lions’ defense doesn’t have great numbers this overall but they did look really good last week against the Ravens who are a really damn good offense. In that game, the Lions allowed just 19 points while sacking Lamar Jackson four times and forcing a turnover on their way to seven fantasy points. The four sacks were the second-straight week the Lions’ defense had at least three sacks. This week I am expecting another strong performance from the Lions as the Bears’ offense is awful. The Bears have allowed 15 sacks this season which is tied for most in the NFL, are averaging just 191.7 total yards per game which is the fewest in the NFL, and 13.3 points per game which is the second-fewest in the NFL. The Bears also have no clue who they are starting at quarterback this week as Andy Dalton is still dealing with an injury and Justin Fields is dealing with an injury and just frankly looked awful last week.
