Rocket League drops updates all the time and the gaming community will be wondering all about the next update – patch 2.05.
The brilliant game is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands and needs these updates in order to sort out bugs and also bring new content to the game.
Patch 2.04 saw the car football game collaborate with the NFL and they were able to bring in tonnes of skins for cars as players could decorate the car in the style of their favourite American Football team.
We are not sure if we will see something as big as this in the next update, but no doubt there will be more collaborations in the near future.

Release Date
The times in which patch notes are released aren’t set in stone and aren’t in an exact pattern. The 2.04 update was released on 14th September 2021, but the one before that was released a week earlier.
Typically we tend to see updates around one-two weeks apart, so the update should be dropping really soon. We could see it arrive as early as Friday 1st October 2021.
Patch Notes
As always, the patch notes for a Rocket League update are revealed on the day the update comes out. They are typically revealed by the developers Psyonix on the Rocket League website as well as on Twitter.
These patch notes don’t just tell us about the bug fixes, but also about known bugs they will sort out in the near future and content updates. When the patch notes are finally released, we will reveal them all right here.
There is a lot to love about the game at the moment. It’s constantly getting fresh updates which is making the game better and better, and many gamers play the game to compete in huge Esports tournaments for money.
Hopefully this upcoming update will deliver what the players want, and it would be pretty fun if they added more tournaments to the game.
