DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (ESL) – August 28, 2021 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Fnatic (FNC) v.s. Team BIG (BIG) (7:30 AM EST) (-160 BIG)

FNC’s matches don’t get any easier going forward as they just got dominated by arguably the best team in the group to now face the next best team in BIG. It also doesn’t help that BIG has the most efficient team overall K/D at the moment at 1.31 while FNC currently has 0.84. Therefore, this may indicate that FNC can end up struggling in the slaying category against BIG. Brollan has still been FNC’s most relied upon player to kill and has the most accurate shot on his team (56% headshot rate). However, everyone on BIG has been slaying efficiently outside of the newcomer as of now in gade. Tabsen and syrsoN’s contributions have been crucial and the fact that they’re the top two of three most clutch players on their team shows they can handle the crunch time in rounds. Luckily, for BIG the most clutch player out of both teams in KRIMZ (52) is having a slow start which should ease some stress off of players from BIG, and allow them to focus more on slowing Brollan down.

Natus Vincere (NATUS) v.s. mouzesports (MOUZE) (10:30 AM EST) (-250 NATUS)

NATUS finished off where they left off from last tournament and extend their winning-streak to eight now while MOUZE try to avoid an 0-2 start to the season. S1mple ended up having his way and also had experience of being the top slayer for his team against this MOUZE squad the last time they faced off. Fortunately, for MOUZE that was by a close margin so they can definitely take that experience and realize that s1mple has been their main problem as everyone else on NATUS did not perform as well during that previous matchup. Ropz of MOUZE has seemed to picked up where he left off from the last tournament with his dominant performance in their loss and it will definitely be needed again this time if MOUZE wants a chance to upset this NATUS squad. On the other hand, ropz was one of the two least efficient slayers for his team when they last faced NATUS so he’s in a tough position here. As for his teammate Bymas who was the top slayer in the last matchup chances bode well for him to clutch up during rounds this time with the most on his team right now at 21. Also, those clutch situations will be necessary if it comes to crunch time against NATUS, especially since they haven’t been forced to clutch up yet but out-slayed their last opponent.

FaZe Clan (FAZE) v.s. Evil Genuises (EG) (1:30 PM EST) (-278 FAZE)

FAZE are coming off a close series win with close to even killing across the board (although two players had negative kill-death differentials) which can be a problem for EG to handle. In addition, the consistent killing has just not been there for EG as of late and this has been their second game in a row being unable to win a map against their opponent. Twistzz of FAZE was able to maintain his high accuracy overall (62% headshot rate) which may more than likely continue to complement his gameplay, especially after being the second highest slayer on his team during their past win. Moreover, EG also has to worry about the fact that FAZE have clutched up in scenarios during their match, especially olofmeister with 40 alone. EG currently has no clutches yet which ends up putting more pressure on them because no one of the team had a positive kill-death differential which should be their main priority at the moment. That being said if EG begins the match of slow and continues to struggle in killing to start again chances are FAZE can end up starting the season strong again and extending their win-streak.
