The Houston Rockets have roughly two weeks to decide what they’re going to do with the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

General manager Rafael Stone will have conversations with people around the league between now and July 29, as teams ponder moving up, moving down and even moving out of the draft completely. While it’s likely the Detroit Pistons will take Cade Cunningham first overall and the Rockets will probably decide between Jalen Green and Evan Mobley, nothing is set in stone at this point.

“We could package and trade up, we could trade into the future,” Stone told me recently. “We could trade for a vet. They’re all on the table. That’s always going to be dictated by the deals on the table.
