‘Fortnite’ Alien Artifact Locations: Where To Find The Week 5 Alien Artifacts – Forbes

Another week, a couple more Alien Artifacts. It’s a fun little weekly ritual this time around, travelling around the map to find the hidden objects that let you customize your Khymera Skin. Whether or not you’re interested in using Khymera is another matter, of course, but this is Fortnite, and that means that you’re here to spend years hoovering up all the skins you possibly can until your locker is stacked so deep with looks that you could wear a new outfit every day for months. That’s especially true with a modular skin like this one. So let’s take a look at this week’s drop of 5:

Here’s where you want to look:

Pleasant Park: In the central park area.

Misty Meadows: Build to the top of the Clock Tower.

Believer Beach: In the attic of a green and blue house in the southeast. Land on top for easy access.

Craggy Cliffs: Near a tree close to the beach.

Retail Row: At the bus stop in the Southeast.

In all instances the Artifacts are still sort of big and hard to miss, so this shouldn’t be too much of a problem if you know the general area to look in. It’s best to keep up with these week by week if you’re a committed player, but it would be sort of fun to wait until the end of the season you’d have a map absolutely stacked with these things, which would be a pleasant sort of thing on its own.

As a longtime Fortnite player, it’s been interesting to see the gradual evolution of these hidden object hunts, always integral to the experience. This season is a tiered system: the artifacts are the most oblique and difficult to find. The weekly challenges are telegraphed on the map in the quest screen in some way, making them a little easier. This one is probably most similar to the Fortbyte’s from another futuristic season back in Chapter 1.
