Rocket League players will be able to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the music label Monstercat with a new in-game Fan Pack which contains a bunch of anthems, and a couple of free items from July 5th.
Monstercat is turning ten years old on July 1st, and to celebrate the occasion, Rocket League will be featuring some in-game items through a purchasable pack and two free items. The event will begin on July 5th and include the nine anthems available in the Fan Pack on the in-game radio station. You’ll be able to listen to the likes of Noisestorm, Slushii, and for the first time in Rocket League, Marshmello, while you battle it out for victory.
Psyonix and Monstercat have worked closely over the years to bring some of the craziest beats to the game, which Psyonix says is extremely important to the Rocket League community. “Monstercat has become an intrinsic partner in the identity of Rocket League. We have grown as partners together and in their tenth year as a label, we are happy to celebrate all that they have become and what we have become together,” says Psyonix’s audio director, Mike Ault.
Head into the game on July 5th to pick up the Monstercat 10 YR Player Banner and Disconnected – Pegboard Nerds player anthem for free. Additionally, you’ll be able to purchase the Monstercat 10 YR Fan Pack for 1,000 Credits, containing:
