Copenhagen Flames (CPHF) v.s. Ambush (AMBSH) (9:00 AM)

To start the slate this matchup may end up being one of the more one-sided games. CPHF is currently ranked 44 while their opponent AMBSH is ranked 145. CPHF also has a 52% win-rate compared to AMBSH’s 33.3% which is another plus for CPHF. With the slaying being balanced on the CPHF the player that’s the second least efficient in slaying (jabbi) happens to be the most accurate with a 61% headshot percentage which will only increases CPHF’s chances to do well in gunfights. In addition, AMBSH currently doesn’t have any players close to a 1 K/D which may result in them struggling more in gunfights. Gringo is the closest to a 1 K/D on the team while averaging 75.6 damage per round. SBT was also the next player on AMBSH to complement Gringo’s slaying but they will definitely need to be on point again to counter the top slayer on CPHF in nicoodoz (1.13 K/D).

ONYX (ONY) v.s. Anonymo (ANO) (9:00 AM)

Both teams enter this match on winning streaks with (2 for ONYX, 1 for ANO). Unfortunately for ONYX, their winning streak may be at more risk due to the fact the team overall K/D for ANO is slightly higher (1.00 K/D) compared to ONY’s 0.95. Kei has also been a significant threat to his opposers with 82.7 damage dealt per round (currently the most out of both teams) which will only cause others to have difficulty with him in gunfights. However, ANO will have to keep their eye on a possible counter from ONY in Impulse who currently has the highest K/D on his team at 1.12 while anchoring for his team with the sniper. ANO also doesn’t have a go-to sniper on their team unless Snax decides to pick it up again, although his accuracy is barely better than Impulse’s (36.9% headshot percentage versus 36.1% from Impulse).

Lyngby Vikings (LV) v.s. Iberian Family (IFAM) (11:30 AM)

IFAM are on a tear right now sweeping their last two opponents 2-0 but will now be put to the test against the top 53 ranked team in Lyngby Vikings. IFAM currently has the slaying advantage with a 1.15 team overall K/D over LV’s 0.99 K/D. SunPayus has led the way with the sniper mainly for his IFAM squad and has had a positive kill-death differential for the past six games and will continue to try maintaining that pace. Since j3nsyy is the only person to really snipe for the LV squad, and unfortunately having a less accurate shot while using the sniper (28.5%) compared to SunPayus’ (31.5%) it will be up to others on the team to make the collaborative effort to slow him down. Raalz and Daffu are the only two players on LV to have the slaying capability at the moment (with a K/D of at least 1) outside of j3nsyy and they will need to rebound off of the negative kill-differential they had in their previous game or this game can get ugly for LV quick.

Galaxy Racer (GR) v.s. Budapest Five (B5) (11:30 AM)

This game can potentially be the closest of the slate with GR being ranked 71 and B5 being ranked 86. Unfortunately, B5 ­ as of late only had one person contribute the most on their roster in slaying mostly and that’s fleav which will definitely not be enough in order to defeat GR. Joel has also begun to get his groove back sniping and is currently the most relied on slayer for the GR squad with a 1.11 K/D which can be trouble for B5 if he keeps up this pace, and ends up making slaying easier for his teammates. Disco doplan also has a kill-death differential within the range of Joel’s so if sniping fails GR have people to fall back on to get the kills going. B5’s best chances to succeed in this one would be to ride off of momentum especially with kory being the closest to having the most success with opening kills (47.9%) compared to PlesseN’s 50.5%.
