Schalke 04 (S04) v.s. Excel (XL) 11:00 AM (-175 S04)

S04 enters this match off a bounce back win to start the season and now face a struggling XL team that’s currently winless at the moment. Unfortunately for XL, they lost the last faceoff with S04 so they’ll have to figure out a way to turn it around this time and hopefully get their first victory this season. The slaying was balanced for the most part on S04 with Gilius and Broken Blade leading the way. However, Broken Blade is the only left starting out of that duo and happens to have the highest KDA currently on the team (5) and more than likely will be expect to lead the way again. As for XL, the slaying will be relied on mainly from denyk with an 83.3% kill-participation but the majority of his teammates have barely a 1 K/D and last time XL struggled to defeat S04 was mainly due to the fact they were barely able to frag out. Therefore, denyk will have to continue to slay like he has but along with his teammates contributing because if not it’s going to be a long and dreadful game for them.

Misfits Gaming (MSF) v.s. Team Vitality (VIT) 12:00 PM (-125 VIT)

The currently second in the standings team right now in MSF (2-0 record) now clashes with a team they lost to previously in VIT. Crownshot played a large part in that victory for VIT with eight kills, and one death. Moreover, this helps VIT because not only does Crownshot still have a decent KDA at the moment (2.2) but he doesn’t have the highest which means he more than likely won’t be the only one contributing to slaying this time around. Selfmade who happens to main the jungle role for VIT currently has a 10.5 KDA and 100% first-blood rate which can result in consistent strong starts from this squad. However, the middle-lane rating is a disadvantage for VIT (0.3 versus MSF’s 86.5) which can lead to Vetheo performing really well. In addition, Vetheo has a current 12 KDA which can mean the slaying by him can cause havoc in this matchup if MSF is unable to balance their middle-lane defense for the better.

Astralis (AST) v.s. MAD Lions (MAD) 1:00 PM (-488 MAD)

Both teams entering this match are on a winning streak to start the season with AST having a two-game win streak compared to MAD’s one-game win streak. AST also sits at the top of the standings to start this season so far and has a pretty drastic slaying advantage (1.58 team overall KD while MAD has a 0.85 KD). MAD also lost in their previous matchup with AST although Kaiser and Elyoya tried to match the slaying of Jeskla and MagiFlex from AST. Jeskla and MagiFelix are also starting off this Summer Season strong and are still capable of slaying like they did in their previous matchup against MAD. (7.3/6.3 KD/s). However, WhiteKnight has been the top slayer on the squad at the top position with a 11.5 KD which will make slaying easier for Jeskla and MagiFlex if contained, and which can be trouble for MAD. Since both teams currently lack getting first-blood’s (0% rating) the start of the game will be important and MAD has a 62 early-game rating compared to 38.5 by AST but maintaining that strong start will be key for MAD. Humanoid has been the best middle-laner for MAD but will definitely need Elyoya to continue slaying at the level he is currently in order to make the win a lot more achievable.

G2 Esports (G2) v.s. SK Gaming (SK) 2:00 PM (-489 G2)

SK have found themselves at the bottom of the standings to start this season and currently have no wins as they now go against G2 with a 1-1 record. SK currently have the higher early-game rating at the moment (75.7) compared to G2 (59.9) which they need to capitalize off of. On the other hand, SK’s middle-lane is really weak at the moment with a -75.7 rating so G2 should expect Caps to take advantage of that at his middle-lane position. On top of that Rekkles has been slaying efficiently with an 8 KDA which will be necessary to help G2 begin turning their early-game start woes around. Twohoryz, on the other hand has the highest KDA out of both teams with an 8.5 and will need to contribute slaying somewhere near that rate again since none of his teammates are currently close to that level. Especially when G2 will be probably make their bans for their champions difficult due to the fact they currently have 20 champions that have 100% win-rates when chosen so that shows the versatility of G2’s comps.

Fnatic (FNC) v.s. Rogue (RGE) 3:00 PM (-203 RGE)

To end the slate we now get a faceoff between two teams on streaks one losing (FNC), and one winning (RGE). RGE is also third in the standings at the moment while FNC is second to last so this match may not go so well for FNC. In addition, it doesn’t help that FNC was defeated by RGE the last time they played and it was mostly to the hands of Hans sama and Larssen. Hans sama should be the main focus to slow down for FNC but with a 21 KDA at the moment that may end up being a really tough task. What hurts FNC even more is that their top slayer in the last matchup is no longer on the team. Therefore, Upset will have to step in and try to fill that void with his current 3.5 KDA at the ADC position. This will be a very difficult win for FNC to accomplish especially with their backs against the wall because statistically they don’t really have an advantage over RGE. The only way they can get it done will be together while doing the best they can to slow down Hans sama/Larssen.
