DWG KIA (DWG) v.s. KT Rolster (KT) (4:00 AM EST) (-1050 DWG) (LCK)

DWG are off to a decent start this Summer Season but have a slight advantage over their opponent in KT. DWG currently has a 1.07 team overall KD while KT has a 0.95 so DWG needs to take advantage of their slaying difference at the moment. DWG also defeated KT in their last matchup (2-1 series count). Canyon and Ghost were the leaders in slaying last time around (5 kills each, Canyon having 0 kills). Luckily, Ghost has a 5.5 KDA at the moment which bodes well for him to repeat that performance this time around. As for KT, the closest player on their team to Ghost’s slaying caliber is Blank but with a current 3.5 KDA. The support champion Alistar avoided a ban last matchup for and if KT is able to select her again that’d be a plus with that being their second most winning rated champion.

LGD Gaming (LGD) v.s. Ultra Prime (UP) (5:00 AM EST) (-138 LGD) (LPL)

Both these teams are near the bottom of the standings and looking to rebound after a loss in their last match. LGD has the slight upper hand with a 1.09 team overall KD compared to UP’s 0.84. Shad0w currently has the highest kill-participation on his team at the jungle position. Kramer will also be expected to complement him with his current 4.9 KDA in the ADC role. Although LGD has the better first-blood rate at 100% right now versus UP’s 33%, but UP does have the upper hand in the jungle rate (53%) compared to LGD’s 46.1%. Therefore, H4cker may end up performing well for UP at the jungle position if his team continues to maintain that rate.

TT Gaming (TT) v.s. Team WE (WE) (7:00 AM EST) (-700 WE) (LPL)

First match of the slate that may end up being more one-sided in favor of WE. TT currently has a 0-2 record compared to WE’s 2-1 record and WE also swept TT in the last series 2-0. Shanks and Jiumeng dominated with 10 and 9 kills each and was able to keep two of their opponents to zero kills which is very hard to accomplish. Unfortunately, neither of these two are in the lineup, but Breathe was in the last matchup and has the third highest KDA on his team at the top position (4.7). In addition, Elk has the highest KDA with 6.2 at the ADC position which should be the worry for TT. Sadly, TT has no slayers with that rate so the match can get ugly quick. Xiaopeng is TT’s best hope at the jungle role but the 1.7 may not be good enough to get the job done alone.

Afreeca Freecs (AF) v.s. DRX (DRX) (7:00 AM EST) (-133 DRX) (LCK)

Although AF has the better record as of now (2-1) compared to DRX’s (1-2), DRX was able to defeat AF in the last matchup 2-1 so that will definitely be on AF’s mindset. Pyosik was the most efficient slayer for DRX last time but currently has the lowest KDA on his team at the moment with a 1.5 KDA but still has the highest kill-participation of 94.7% so he’ll definitely be looking to replicate a similar performance. Moreover, DRX’s support player in Becca is slaying the most for DRX right now with a 4 KDA which is great for a player especially when their main focus is to assist the team. On the other hand, Lehends of AF happens to have a 5.7 KDA at the support role so the battle between him and Becca should be an interesting clash. Leo, however is the top slayer for AF with a 6.7 KDA at the ADC position. AF also has a slightly drastic early-game rating of 52.8 while DRX has a 32.6 so the early game momentum could end up being a significant factor in deciding the final outcome.
