Tyler “Ninja” Blevins said he has no plans to pursue competitive Fortnite during a recent stream, saying he “more than likely will not return to Fortnite competitive until it makes sense.”
Although Ninja built his name and brand on Fortnite, rising to the top of Twitch and breaking viewership records playing the game, the main draw has never been his skill. He could always hold his own against top players, but more often than not viewers were pulled in by his personality.
Just a week after quitting competitive Valorant, Ninja says he will more than likely not return to competitive Fortnite until it “makes sense” ?

During a recent stream playing Final Fantasy XIV, Ninja responded to a viewer asking if he would ever return to Fortnite competitive play.
“Honestly, I don’t want to get sucked back into the competitive shit,” he said. He didn’t elaborate on what it would take to get him back in, saying it would only happen if “it makes sense.”
What few forays into professional competition he made were short-lived, and it’s been quite some time since he entered a tournament and competed in earnest — his last event was the 2019 Winter Royale.
Since his heyday as the face of Twitch and Fortnite, Ninja has expanded his catalog of games significantly, trying his hand at Valorant and League of Legends among other games.
