DAMWON Gaming (DWG) v.s. Dragon X (DRX) (4:00 AM EST) (LCK)

To start the slate off DWG will look to maintain their top spot in the standings right now against DRX who is currently in fifth. However, both teams have just been defeated in their last matches and are looking to get back to winning. Unfortunately, DWG has beaten DRX 2-0 in their last meet and also at Worlds last year so they may have DRX’s number. A trend DRX has tried to do in the last match was ban the champion Taliyah who is used mainly in the jungle role. Canyon of DWG has the third best KDA (4.4) and jungler so DRX may have to continue to keep banning Taliyah to try and make Canyon a non-factor.  SOLKA is the middle lane player of DRX and currently with a 3.6 KDA to give his team a chance to give DWG a run for their money but it has to be a collaborative effort.

Jingdong Gaming (JDG) v.s. LGD Gaming (5:00 AM EST) (LPL)

JDG who are the defending Spring Playoff Champions are climbing their way back up the standings while being on a four-game winning streak. The records have a pretty good deficit between them, LGD with at 11-20 record compared to JDG with a 20-9 record. In other words, this matchup may be more one-sided (-925 JDG) . In addition, the team overall K/D for JDG is 1.19 and quite a gap versus LGD’s 0.73 which benefits JDG more. Yagao of JDG has the highest KDA of everyone on the slate (5.3) and has a good chance to continue going off.

Li-Ning Gaming (LNG) v.s. Suning (SN) (7:00 AM EST) (LPL)

Both teams are on a losing streak at the moment looking to bounce back and win. Also, both teams are quiet even at the moment LNG having a 14-17 record and SN having a 15-12 record. On the other hand, SN has a competitive advantage with a 1.25 K/D while LNG’s is 0.98. Huanfeng will be a problem for LNG to deal with and currently has a 6.8 KDA at the ADC position. The best hope for LNG would be for Tarzan to continue having a high first blood rate and help his team get rid of Huanfeng as soon as possible.

Afreeca Freecs (AF) v.s. T1 (7:00 AM EST) (LCK)

Unfortunately for AF they are on the lower end of the standings and currently on a five-game losing streak while T1 is on the upper part of the bracket (fourth in the standing). Cuzz of T1 has a wild 6.2 KDA currently for T1 and mains the jungle position with the highest kill participation (72.3%) out of both sides. Dread of AF, is the opposing jungle has a high kill participation as well but slightly lower with a 71.8%. Furthermore, T1’s chances of winning will be on a higher end due to the K/D difference (1.17 to AF’s 0.83). However, AF has swept T1 in the past 2-0 and shouldn’t be counted out completely to create the upset and win.
