DraftKings & FanDuel LoL Cheat Sheet – LPL/LCK – March 14, 2021 (3/14/21) – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

We had a strong night last night with our core of BLG/RA/TES and tonight we are once again going to focus mainly on the LPL. That being said, an old school starting lineup for T1 actually fell optimal last night – the pros and cons to that are if you landed on the correct players, you excelled – but T1 also shuffled their starters once again and with these 1am (CT) locks, we don’t always get starting lineups for LCK so there is always going to be some risk there. Tonight the only LCK team we should focus on is the best one and the one with the best record and that is Damwon Kia. Damwon is 13-1 on the season and faces 5-9 Nongshim RedForce. These two met earlier in the year with Damwon sweeping them 2-0. Both games in this set were under 30 minute finishes for DWG, though they only had 29 total kills through both. This is a pretty standard amount and was only lessened by the quick and easy victories. Damwon is a team that should be a constant in your player pools, with multiple starters leading the league in the major categories. The other LCK match is HLE and LSB. Liiv is actually off of a sweep of GenG and has shown some turnaround recently. I think this match can be closer than perceived and with HLE pretty expensive I don’t see myself having a lot outside of some tournament shares.

Over in the LPL my main focus is going to be LNG against OMG and Team WE over Suning for some value. I think the RNG/JDG match to end the night will be close and should go three games, but RNG is the most expensive at some positions and for this, I very much disagree. RNG is priced first or second at all positions and despite being a -225 favorite, JDG is no push-over. In fact, JDG are 8-4 (16-9) on the season and currently sit in the playoffs. JDG is also 6-1 over their last seven matches, with wins against Suning and Team WE. This will certainly be a challenge against 11-1 RNG, but I do not think it is a matchup that should have RNG priced up to the level they are and JDG priced down. I prefer JDG savings here, but I think I am going to end up avoiding this match mostly. LNG is my favorite play from the LPL tonight as they take on 2-10 OMG. LNG has one of the toughest schedule stretches recently, being swept by FPX/RA/TES/RNG/EDG in five of their last eight matches. Those are arguably the top five teams in the LPL, though LNG still sits at 6-6 on the year. What this tells us is they take care of business against teams worse than them and luckily that is exactly what this match is. Like last night with BLG, sometimes it is more a pick against the opposing team than it is the team we are focusing on. Any LNG for me starts with Light as he sits in the top ten in the LPL for kills and is participating in 70% of the teams kills.

Suning is a team that I still struggle to figure out as though they are on a four-game winning streak, three of those wins came against teams currently not in the playoff picture. They do have a win over IG, but they have 0-2 losses against EDG/FPX/RA/JDG. So for me, Suning has been a team that has just been taking out the bottom half of the league but struggling against legit competition. Team WE is on a four-game winning streak of their own, with a 2-0 sweep over FPX the notable victory. This team falls into the same build as Suning, with 0-2 losses to RA/RNG/JDG. As a Team, WE is averaging six fantasy points higher than Suning. Huanfeng is the star for Suning, currently leading the LPL in total KDA, but Team WE has three players in the top 20 in this category. When it comes to fighting as a team, WE gets the edge here. Suning actually has three starters being involved in 63% or less of the teams kills. Team WE doesn’t have a huge jump on this, but this plays a factor when four-stacking when it comes to total assist equity. I can see this game reaching three games, but I can also see Team WE winning 2-0. The outcome I do not expect here is a Suning 2-0, which removes Suning mostly from my pool. In the end though, this is a tight matchup on paper and what should really show what we have with both of these teams moving nearer to playoffs. Contrary to advice I usually give, a build with WE actually is going to start with the TOP laner and the JNG, as they have been the most active. Breathe at TOP leads the LPL in KDA by a large margin, while Beishang has been the third-best jungler in the league.
