For our final slate before the playoffs, I am going to be focusing on Misfits. Misfits have now won three of their last four games, with big wins over Schalke and Fnatic which have moved them closer to securing a playoff spot. Misfits will need to take care of business on Sunday but get a very friendly matchup against Team Vitality. On Saturday in what was a must-win for MSF, they played one of the best and quickest games of the LEC season. Misfits won this game against Fnatic in just 24 minutes with a 13k gold advantage and 23-8 kill advantage. Every member of Misfits finished with nine or more assists with 56 in total. Team Vitality did beat Misfits back in week one of the season, but a lot has changed since then and Misfits have been playing like their season is on the line (which it is). I am hoping the added pressure doesn’t push Misfits into a slower pace, but we have not seen that out of them the last two slates as they have been near-optimal in each. Schalke and XL is another massive game that has playoff implications. The spread in this match is just -145, though XL is priced at the bottom of a lot of positions. The pricing on them doesn’t make a ton of sense and after an upset win over Rogue, they are another team fighting for the lives.
