Fortnite Week 13 Challenges are finally live, and one of the weirder tasks on the list asks players to destroy five Crystal Trees. Especially if you’ve been out of the loop during Season 5, you may be looking around the Battle Royale map for trees that aren’t quite crystal. In the spirit of investigation, we’ll show you the best location to destroy the required amount of Crystal Trees in a matter of minutes.
Fortnite destroy Crystal Tree locations
As illustrated on the map below, Crystal Trees are located in the vast sandy area outside Colossal Coliseum. We had the most luck finding them in this section northwest of the named location.

When you get there, you should see a bunch of clear trees that look like this. These are the Crystal Trees you must destroy to receive credit for the challenge. In order to claim your 20,000 XP reward, all you have to do is hit five of them with your Pickaxe across any number of matches.

Given that the small slice of land showcased in this screenshot features three Crystal Trees out of the total five you need, it shouldn’t be that difficult to find the remaining two. You can either come back here again as part of a different lobby or walk a few feet in any direction to find some more. Like many Fortnite challenges, as long as you understand precisely what the quest entails, getting it done is as easy as pie.
Fortnite Week 13 Challenges
Fortnite Week 13 Challenges are much more involved than destroying a few Crystal Trees around Colossal Coliseum. Featured in this week’s questline, you’ll also be bathing in Purple Pools, seeking out Surface Hub servers and throwing fruit at Hunter’s Haven. While strange, each of these objectives brings players one step closer to learning the truth about Season 5 and what’s to come in Season 6. Read the full list of Week 13 Challenges below.
