Fortnite is continuing to have real challenges as this season extends well past 12 weeks. I’m not quite clear on when it ends yet, but I think we have challenge listed through at least week 15 through datamining, so we’ll see. Among today’s challenges? You have to destroy inflatable tubemen llamas at different gas stations.

You know what they’re talking about right? Those wacky inflatable tubemen you see flapping in the wind promoting businesses? Well, Fortnite has them now, but they are llamas, and they are promoting gas stations.

Here’s a map with the locations of more than three, which is all you need to complete the challenge. The double circle locations have two at the gas station, which should each count separately.

So to recap we have:

Two at the gas station at the west side of Sweaty Sands
Two at the gas station west of Misty Meadows
One directly above the desert and below Craggy Cliffs
One just west of Steamy Stacks
One just east of Colossal Colosseum
One at the southeast edge of the desert

You can always recognize gas stations from a distance by their flat roofs. Most named city-type zones have them, but not every gas station has tubemen at them. There’s a gas station at Pleasant Park and one at Lazy Lake, I believe, which does not have them. So just go to the ones I circled and you’ll be all set. That’s way more than the three you need, so there are plenty to choose from. Hack away at the poor tubemen llamas and then move on to the next challenge.

One thing we have not figured out this season is what “event” we are leading toward to end the season. Nothing really seems to be happening week to week other than more and more hunters coming out of various portals from the Zero Point. But there do not appear to be larger threats looming we can identify, so we’ll have to see what’s to come as the season presses on for at least another month, it looks like. I’m still not sure when it’s supposed to officially end.

Anyway, I will see you out there at some gas stations. Definitely do not shoot the gas tanks and blow everything up while people are trying to destroy their tubemen. That would be mean and not funny at all.
