The “Last Forever” emote in Fortnite joins “Don’t Start Now” in a series of popular dance collaborations.
Epic Games has re-released its popular Fortnite dance emote, “Last Forever,” on Jan. 4 in tandem with the latest popular social media-inspired emote, “Don’t Start Now.” It appears the company may be looking to make a series of emotes featuring similar paired tracks and choreography in collaboration with the original artists and performers.

The “Last Forever” emote is currently available on the Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks. It has previously appeared in mid-September and then again in October of 2020 within Chapter 2 Season 4. It appears Epic is bringing it around again for Season 5, possibly to pair it with the recently released “Don’t Start Now” emote of a similar genre.
“Last Forever” is categorized as rare and its description asks “Who said love don’t last forever?”
The track and choreography come directly from rap and dance performers Ayo & Teo (@shmateo_). The song, “Last Forever” was originally released in late August of 2019. Later, the pair uploaded a short clip of synchronized choreography which quickly became popular on social media—particularly Tik Tok. The official upload of their music video has reached 21 million views since its release, with 412 thousand likes.
Fans can find the pair and their newest single, “Bring a Friend,” on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and its Music section, Pandora, Soundcloud, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, and the iTunes Store.
