Believe it or not, it’s been a month since splitscreen multiplayer mysteriously disappeared from the version of Nintendo switch from Rocket League. This happened at the same time that the game became a free-to-play title, but don’t worry, Psyonix is already working on an update that they hope to have ready by December.
Responding to a post on Reddit, a company representative commented as follows:
Hello everyone, if the tests go well, the split screen mode should return to the Nintendo Switch with our next update in December (the same one that includes the new community flags we mentioned yesterday)
This has been on our Recognized Issues list for quite a while, and it has always been our goal to bring it back. Thank you all!”
So there you have it, in case everything goes well, the December update should bring back split-screen mode to Rocket league in Switch.
