It’s the season of the witch.
The witch broom is a new travel item exclusive to this year’s Fortnitemares event in Fortnite.
It will allow you to quickly traverse portions of the Fortnite map in Halloween style and even has a special challenge associated with it, but you need to find the witch broom location first.
Both the witch broom and its challenge are only available during Fortnitemare, which ends on Tuesday, 2nd November. You can also turn into a Shadow and eat candy throughout this event.

Witch broom location in Fortnite explained
To find a witch broom in Fortnite you need to visit Hag’s Hollow that is located on the hill south of the gas station in F5 on the Fortnite map.
It’s a good idea to head to this location at the very beginning of a match or else you risk other players taking all the witch brooms.
Once you land, you’ll find two barrels containing witch brooms outside the house.
You can choose to either search the barrels to make at least one broom appear or smash the barrels with your harvest tool to make three brooms appear.
After this, a witch broom can be picked up like any other item and added to your inventory.
Fortnite Season 4 has arrived and its brought the Marvel universe with it, including Thor, Groot, Storm, Mystique and Iron Man. Theres also a new Victory Umbrella to earn, new map locations and a special Wolverine skin to unlock, with the challenges being investigating claw marks, finding the Loading Screen picture at a Quinject Patrol Site, Wolverine’s Trophy, launching off the Sentinel Hands, locate a Trask Transport Truck and how to defeat Wolverine. Make sure you know how to drive a car and use the gas stations too! Don’t forget to raid a Quinjet landing spot or The Collection location! Finally, there are new challenges for you to complete, including driving boats beneath the coloured bridges and visiting Panther’s Prowl.
How to use the witch broom in Fortnite
To use a witch broom you need to select it from your inventory like you would any other item in Fortnite.
After that simply use the broom and fly about the map going whether you please until you lose altitude.
As part of the Fortnitemares celebrations there is a ‘Travel 100 meters on a witch broom,’ which can be quickly completed.
Doing so will reward you with 40,000 XP and the Midas’ Revenge loading screen.
