Rocket League will be going free-to-play very very soon. Esportz Network reports that the game developer revealed through its website that the new Rocket League challenges will be available after the free-to-play patch. No one knows when the game will go free-to-play but the move is expected to happen at any moment, which means the new challenges are not far behind.
The new system will allow players to complete three weekly challenges starting on Wednesdays. Those who have the Rocket Pass Premium Battle Pass will get three more challenges on top of that. Season challenges will also be part of the new formula. They will have various difficulties and some will be available later in the season.
What Else Is Coming With Free to Play?
Psyonix have already announced that the game will reward players who were there before it went free-to-play. One of the rewards includes a display title with the year they started playing the game.
We’ll keep you updated when there is more information on the free-to-play release and the new challenge system coming after that update.
