Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is on the way, but we are very much being left in suspense by Epic.
A trailer could drop any day now, but what rumours and leaks have been going around the web?
New Game Mode – Arena Box Fight
A leaked image from @FNBRHQ on twitter shows us a new game mode coming in Season 4!
This may mean players are in a 1v1 game mode with a great scoring system and leaderboard.
Although this wouldn’t necessarily be a battle royale game mode, it would be great to see EPic branching into different game modes!
Black Panther POI Leak
A location called “Panther Monument” has been leaked on twitter by @HYPEX.
Above you can see an image of where the location is expected to be as well as the name of the new POI.
The release of this location almost confirms that we’ll be getting a Black Panther cosmetic later in the season!

Trailer Details Revealed
HYPEX has revealed some massive spoilers in regards to the Season 4 trailer.
Thor’s Hammer
Thor’s Hammer and a crater have been leaked by twitter user @FNBRHQ.
In the image above, you can see the image that’s been leaked on twitter.

There’s a chance this item will become usable in Fortnite Battle Royale, similar to the Infinity Blade and Infinity Gauntlet!
Battle Pass Skins Leaked?
Fortnite data miner HYPEX has learned that the following text was added onto Fortnite’s source code.
This could possibly hint towards some of the battle pass skins we will see in Season 4!
- Heralds Alone Won’t Save Us > (Thor?)
- Technology Alone Won’t Save Us > (Iron Man?)
- Rage Alone Won’t Save Us > (Hulk?)
- Justice Alone Won’t Save Us > ?
Comic Book Pages
A comic book showed up in the main Battle Pass area of the menu in Fortnite.
Pages are slowly being revealed, but here are some of the best moments from each release.
Pg 1 – 2
Galactus essentially becomes distracted by an amazing looking planet to devour. Thor heads over to it to warn everyone!
Pg 3 – 4
Thor lands on the planet, and warns Brite Bomber about the incoming World-Eater. However, Jonesy has other plans, and decides to shoot him in the back with a shotgun!
What’s next? Probably a whole lot of thunder!

Prelude to War?
In an email sent out to Epic Games Partners, they have revealed yet another teaser for the new season.

Rift and Comic Book Activation today? – 22 August
FireMonkey tweeted some code, along with mention that The Comic Book and The Rift will be activated as early as today!

Season 4 Music Pack Teased? – 22 August
Another post by Hypex has seemingly revealed a snippet of the Season 4 Music Pack.

Marvel Confirmed? – 21 August
This is perhaps the most concrete news we’ve received, with the South Korean eShop for Nintendo Switch seemingly confirming the Marvel theme.
This was confirmed by @FNBRHQ on Twitter, but with the image quality not the best, it remains to be seen how reliable this is.
Midas Flopper? – 20 August
StonewallTabor, or Tabor Hill is the infamous leaker with the Epic Games employee inside source.
HYPEX noted that in their latest video they talk about a ‘Midas Flopper’; one that when players fish it will turn every item they have into Legendary!
Marvel Theme – 19 August
This could just be pure speculation, but HYPEX has suggest that Season 4 “might” be Marvel themed – with Thor and his hammer possible cosmetics.
We also have first whispers of what could appear in the trailer.
Wolverine Skin rumours – 15 August
Renowned Data-Miner and Leaker Hypex shared a post on Twitter recently which appears to suggest that a Wolverine Skin, and Wolverine Claws Pickaxe may have been planned by Epic.
It’s by no means confirmed, and even Hypex themselves states it’s a ‘POSSIBLE’ leak, but exciting nonetheless if true!

Update and Release Date News – 11 August
A recent tweet from @VastBlastt shows the possibility that the new season won’t be delayed.
As you can see from the image above, these are more hints pointing towards the new Season having no delay.

Rift may appear above the map – 8 August
It looks like the rift will appear above the map, if we go on Hypex’s latest tweet.
Hypex actually lowered the rift, so we can all get a better idea of what it will look like. However, it won’t be this close to the map in the game!
Hightower Rift and Crater To Appear Soon – 6 August
HYPEX, well known Fortnite leaker posted an image and some notes about the in-game event.
They noted that the rift above The Authority is going to appear soon, along with the craters!
New Flopper Details leaked – 5 August
It appears that more information is coming in everything and anything fishing.

Well known Fortnite data miner, iFireMonkey was leaking all the news behind the new Hightower event.
