Hooked Punch Card in Fortnite might be confusing for some players when trying to complete it.

Punch Cards are just the latest Fortnite mechanic aimed at helping players level up their battle pass. Instead of daily quests and tasks, these cards have tiered challenges that increase with every completion. Completing a task earns you a punch—and each punch nets 14,000 experience points. Clearly, there’s quite a bit to be gained from investing your time here.

The Hooked punch card is just one of several to be unlocked and finished.

The Hooked punch card is part of the Fishing category alongside “Reel It In” and “Yeehaw!” Unsurprisingly, this category is meant to put your skills with a fishing rod to the test.

The Hooked card tasks you with catching an increasing amount of fish each time. The tier starts at 1 and then goes through 10, 50, 100, 500, and ends at 1000. Remember: for each punch you get, you earn 14,000 experience points toward you battle pass.

Completing this card is pretty straight forward. All you need to do is set some time aside to catch in accordance with the numbers asked of you.

This card can be completed alongside Reel It In, which asks players to use and visit various Fishing Spots from 3 uses up to 500. You’ll likely complete one while unconsciously working toward the other.
