Fortnite is back with its second week of challenges as players continue to explore the newly darkened map as they play. I had a game the other day where I got in a helicopter and simply flew around to all the dim zones before the storm came in because I was tired of the little greyed out parts of the map. And now that’s helped me figure out where exactly all these challenges are.
The new list is here, and you can check them out below:
- Use different Ziplines at The Authority (0/8)
- Search Chests or Ammo Boxes at Holly Hedges (0/7)
- Find Deadpool floaties at The Yacht (0/3)
- Score a goal on the soccer pitch at Pleasant Park (0/1)
- Eliminations at Lazy Lake (0/3)
- Headshot Henchmen at The Fortilla (0/20)
- Gather or Consume Foraged Items at The Orchard (0/5)
Some of these are old zones, now newly drenched in water, others are new zones that are infested with henchmen and may be rather hard to execute safely. The Authority and The Fortilla in particular are two new “bases” that are going to be somewhat difficult to navigate for these challenges, but considering one of them is headshotting henchmen, you’re going to have to take them on anyway. We have guide for Authority ziplines here.

The Yacht has moved from its top right location to more central, due to the tidal wave (if you can call it that), and we have a guide for where you can find Deadpool’s floaties, even if this is a DC-based season with Aquaman. Did I mention Aquaman? He has his own new challenge this week, and I wrote the guide for that one here.
Scoring a goal at Pleasant Park is pretty standard stuff, though if you haven’t been there since the flooding it it…quite different than it’s been in the past. Lazy Lake and Holly Hedges challenges are easy and those zones aren’t all that much different than they were. I haven’t actually been to the Orchard yet so I don’t know what that looks like now, but if it’s still producing fruit, I guess it can’t be all that bad.
So far these challenges don’t really have any theme to them, and there’s now SHADOW vs. GHOST split to them like we saw last season. They’re kind of standard, but maybe they’ll get more interesting the longer this season goes on. Stay tuned for more.
