The DreamHack Open competition, the first official competitive event of Chapter 2 Season 3, has just been announced. This is Fortnite‘s new competitive circuit that will take place every month until January 2021. The first tournament will take place from July 17 to 26. A total of $250,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winners from each region — Europe and North America.

Subsequent tournaments are expected to be based on the same format, but changes and improvements can be made as the months go by. This first tournament will be a good way to find out the state of the season from a competitive point of view.
