Overtime challenges are here in Fortnite: Battle Royale: a longstanding tradition where you get some pretty straightforward if somewhat grindy objectives designed to get you an XP boost before the end of the season and help you get all thew way up to Tier 100. They’re pretty straightforward this season, and you’ve got plenty of time to solve them: the season has been extended until June 4, likely due to workflow adjustments due to work from home. You still might want some help on some of them, so here’s the location of Hydro 16 and Compact cars for getting some metal.
Hydro 16 is pretty obvious: it’s the giant hydro-electric dam. Compact Cars is not so blindingly obvious, but it’s easy to spot once you know where it is. Look for a bunch of Compact Cars. Here’s where they both are:

I’d recommend Compact Cars, mostly because it is not exactly difficult to collect metal once you’re down there: just take a whack at a bunch of cars. But these are easy challenges regardless, so I wouldn’t sweat them all that much, especially since you’ve got a solid month in which to finish them.
It does make me wonder what exactly we’re doing with all this extra time: there’s what I believe is a Doomsday Device slowly building in the waters surrounding the Agency, and we still need a conclusion to this long-running GHOST vs. SHADOW plotline. Last season didn’t do much with its sort of difficult-to-understand setup, but the plot has been much more active so far this season. I don’t know that we’ll get some sort of epic showdown, but I feel like I can say with some certainty that the Agency is going to get destroyed. How will it get destroyed? No clue.
Regardless, check back for more news soon. The game has been teasing the next season in-game already, if only with some posters. Plenty more on the way, so stay tuned.
