The first step in minimizing your ping is to make sure you’re on the game server closest to your machine. You can change your server by going into Fortnite‘s settings, selecting Game, and changing your Matchmaking Region to whatever is closest to you.

Next, and perhaps most importantly, you’ll want to use a wired connection for your internet. Wireless will always be slower than wired.
