Fortnite ‘Crash Site’ secret changes you didn’t notice – FortniteINTEL

Pleasant Park and the Crash Site have undergone some changes that you probably didn’t notice.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 was one of the dullest seasons in recent memory – both from a content side and plot standpoint.

Sure, Winterfest and the Star Wars event helped fill that time, but we never seemed to get any long-lasting plot points that set the stage for the future of Chapter 2.

In Season 2, however, we seem to be getting that. The Shadow faction is slowly taking over the map as Midas works on his rumored Doomsday Device – something that will surely trigger an in-game event.

One Fortnite player recently caught onto one of the slow-burning plots of Fortnite Season 2. The Crash Site has been slowly clearing out. the items from the plane are moving the Shadow base at Pleasant Park.

As more items get removed from the Crash Site, more vines start to pop up on the plane. It’s been in the same spot since Chapter 2 began, so it’s not surprising that nature is getting the better of it.

Season 2 is set to end on April 30, but no one is expecting that deadline to be met. We’ll likely get a one to two-week extension before we see Season 3.

All signs point to something happening at the Crash Site – big or small. There have been a few small changes all over the map. The Pipeman is moving locations and Grumpy Greens is starting to grow some flowers.

We’ll keep an eye on this area for the rest of Season 2 and into Season 3. This could be the location of a new POI.
