
The maker of “Fortnite” beat most of the IP claims brought by a saxophonist who accused it in Philadelphia federal court of stealing his “signature” dance move to use on player avatars.
The court on Tuesday dismissed Leo Pellegrino’s claims that Epic Games misappropriated his likeness or infringed his trademarks, among other things. One claim survived: that Epic created the false impression that Pellegrino endorses the game.
