TNTina’s Trial continues into its second week here in Fortnite: Battle Royale, meaning that once you take care of today’s challenges, you’ll get a chance to decide loyalty for the occasionally cel-shaded explosives expert. For the most part, her challenges are the more straightforward ones that we’ve gotten used to in the last few season of Fortnite, but there’s a location-based one in there that’s actually a bit tricky. Last week’s mostly showcased some of the bigger locations from the map so far, but this week we’re going to take a tour to some smaller places. So let’s start off with Mowdown: read on for a map, guide and location for where to visit Mowdown in Fortnite.

First, the map. Mowdown is just North of the Orchard, which is just north of Frenzy Farm. Here’s where you’re heading:

So orient yourself to the farm, find the Orchard just to the north of that and look for a big circle of dirt: that’s where you’re headed. Here’s what it looks like from the air:

All you need to do is drop on down to complete the challenge. It’s not hard to tell why we’re calling this Mowdown: it’s a kind of lawnmower racetrack, the sort of fun country fun we get up to in the Frenzy Farm portion of the map. This is a thing! According to an article I just googled, people can get lawnmowers going up to 90 miles and hour, which is sort of terrifying. People, apparently, soup up lawnmowers and race them around small tracks: a vehicle must have originally been designed to cut lawns, and while the blades are removed for racing, it must still be able to do that. Seems like a fun mechanics challenge.

In-game, this feels like a reference to the old Chapter 1 racetrack, at least to me. That thing got upgraded into a full paved experience in Season 5, but it started out as a weird little dirt squiggle, and it wasn’t remotely clear that it was a racetrack until the game introduced shopping carts and put a few of them down there for people to mess around on. It was a different time.
