Fortnite streamers react to Valorant (ProjectA) reveal – Fortnite Tracker

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or grinding Arena non-stop) for the last few days, you will have heard about Valorant. Some people think that it’s release could seriously hurt Fortnite, but this is what our favorite streamers have to say.

This summer, League of Legends developer Riot Games will be dropping their next big title, “Valorant”. The highly anticipated new game is a team-based tactical shooter, featuring a selection of heroes or ‘Agents’.

So, what do the Fortnite stars think about all this, are they scared?

Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar watched the first Valorant gameplay trailer with his Twitch chat. In response to some negative comments from his stream about the graphics, Tim said “ “ and argued that he likes the art style.

Tim was invited to a hands-on gameplay capture session in LA but had to decline due to his busy schedule. As it turns out, this event has now been cancelled by Riot due to coronavirus scares. Regardless, he seems excited to give it a go, to be fair he has been spending a lot of time away from Fortnite anyway.

Expressing his thoughts on Twitter, the trap god Ali “SypherPK” Hassan made the point that it doesn’t have to be one or the other. Sypher explained that he wants to be able to continue to grind Fortnite, but then maybe hop on to Valorant afterwards to cool down.

I think Sypher was spot on when he said, “I just want more high quality fun games to play”. Personally, I’m going to be playing both, writing about both, and probably not having much time left to sleep. Sypher also joked about the people who are already labeling themselves as Valorant pros, telling them “it’s illegal and way too early”.

Fortnite pro Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore only made it 2 seconds into the gameplay footage before yelling “I wanna play it so bad!”. He’s already checking out the different Agents and trying to decide which one he would use.

So, if you have been worrying that Fortnite’s popularity will magically disappear overnight when Valorant is released, stop. There can never be too many awesome games! Also, if we know Epic Games at all, they won’t like this hype very much and will hopefully have some exciting announcements of their own in the works.
